2017 Jamis Xenith Comp

As good as it gets is never good enough at Jamis...and their newly redesigned disc brake edition Xenith proves it. The Xenith was already a multiple award-winning, race-vanquishing powerhouse that Team Jamis—Sutter Home did not want tampered with. But Jamis' engineers and designers weren’t content with today’s accolades and podiums when tomorrow’s beckoned. The development effort on this bike was not just about adding disc brakes; it was about re-designing the Xenith to make it even better. The result? A radically new frame and fork design, and wholly new manufacturing process, which combined deliver the lightest, stiffest, most aero road bike we have ever produced. The Comp ships with 11-speed Shimano 105 components, Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, and an Alex wheelset. A Fizik saddle and Ritchey components ensure rider comfort stays high.

    Comments:

I bought this exact model on sale because it beat out any comparable bike by $300-$500. I have had it since August 2012 and love it! It is a joyful, smooth ride, shifting is flawless. It brings out the fun in longer rides.
